Cláudia Brandão Gonçalves Silva

 

Representative of Brazil as a member of the Executive Secretariat of REIP and charged with developing the organizational capacity and structure of REIP. She is also responsible for formalizing the theme of Interprofessional Education in Health and Collaborative Practices in Brazil's national health policy from the year 2016. Manager and researcher about Health Education, Claudia has a valuable contribution to the implementation of EIP and PC in the Region of the Americas. She is one of the founders of REIP and has been supporting the development of the theme in conjunction with PAHO / WHO. She is a Brazilian Network for Education and Interprofessional Work in Health (ReBETIS) member of the Consultative Council of Cadernos do Cuidado journal and researcher of the most recent initiatives for the implementation of the National IPE Plan in Brazil.

Eduardo Tobar

Representative of Chile as a member of the Executive Secretariat of REIP. Tobar is Academic Director Faculty of Medicine University of Chile and coordinator of EIP team. Leader in the production of IPE research in Chile, with the development and evaluation of teaching and learning interprofessional curriculum. REIP representative at several events on the theme of IPE in the Region of the Americas.

 

 

Larisa Ivón Carrera

Representative of Argentina as a member of the Executive Secretariat of the REIP. Carrera is a professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of the Litoral. She was dean of the University and has worked about medical sciences and the development of postgraduate studies and research about IPE. She participated in the Argentine Forum of Public Medicine Faculties and in initiatives for the faculty development for IPE. Carrera is one of those responsible for the creation of a university network of interprofessional education whose main objective is to work on IPE in the universities.

 

José Rodrigues Freire Filho

International Consultant on Human Resources in Health of the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO / WHO). He has a PhD in Sciences with research on Interprofessional Health Education at the University of São Paulo - Brazil, José presents a strategic role in conducting REIP, as well as in monitoring of actions for the implementation of IPE & CP in Latin American and Caribbean countries, including with investigations to evaluate the impact that the approach presents in the area of human resources for health with potential to improve universal access to health. He was Technical Advisor of the Department of Health Education Management of the Brazilian Ministry of Health and Institutional Support of the Board of Directors of Health Education Development of the Ministry of Education of Brazil.

 

Sílvia Cassiani

Regional Advisor on Nursing and Allied Health Personnel of the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO / WHO). Cassiani has a PhD in Nursing from the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing - Brazil. She was the director of the same institution, with a master's, doctorate and postdoctoral degree. She is one of the protagonists in the implementation of the theme of Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practices in Region of the Americas. She launched the theme as a priority in the area of human resources for health in the year 2016 and has been working intensively ever since, so that the approach can contribute to improving the quality of health care. Member of University Council in Brazil. Ad-hoc Consultant of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP), the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) of Brazil and with several experience in the Nursing area, with emphasis on undergraduate Nursing, Cassiani has a strategic role in Education and collaborative inter-professional health practices in the Region of the Americas.
