The 4th International Colloquium of Education and Interprofessional Work in Health (CIETIS) was held from 28 to 30 November 2018 at the Faculty of Ceilandia of the University of Brasilia, in commemoration of the 10 years since its creation.

CIETIS is an annual event, held by the Brazilian Network of Education and Interprofessional Work in Health (ReBETIS), which brings together teaching institutions, researchers and health professionals involved in interprofessional education (IPE) and collaborative health work experiences.

With the main objective of expanding spaces for the exchange of national and international experiences that contribute to give greater visibility to policies, projects and actions under development in Brazil and abroad with a focus on education and interprofessional work in health, the 4th CIETIS brought together a renowned group of experts on the subject of IPE who during the three days of the event discussed the advances of the IPE in the Brazilian reality, through dialogues between researchers and health professionals and related areas to promote greater articulation between training and health work.

Other activities were present on the agenda of the event, such as meetings of the Advisory Board and Executive Coordination of ReBETIS.

With the 4th CIETIS, it was possible to establish a collective agenda of commitments to be undertaken by the Brazilian Network (ReBETIS) and implemented jointly with partner institutions, national and international organizations, with activities related to the theme, as well as strategic partnerships with sectors involved in education and interprofessional health work.

The event was supported by the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO / WHO), Ministry of Health of Brazil and represented by Regional Network for Interprofessional Education in the Americas (REIP).
